NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:
The US Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District intends to award a sole source contract award to Applied Research Associates, Inc., CAGE: 8R488, 250 Beanville Rd, Randolph, VT 05060 for Medusa Seismic Dilatometer Testing (DMT) Equipment. NAICS Code is 334519 - Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard of 600 employees. The classification code is 6655 - Geophysical Instruments.
THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by 14 April 2026, at 11:00 AM, local time.
