Description
Florida Keys Electric Cooperative (FKEC) is soliciting construction bids for rebuilding and reconductoring a 25kV three-phase overhead distribution feeder and installing underground feeder cable designated as the Q Feeder from Crawl Key to Marathon substation in Florida. The project includes 1.5 miles of overhead feeder and 3.5 miles of underground feeder, installation of concrete vaults, new poles, and a recloser. The contractor is responsible for labor, equipment, and resources to complete the project with minimal outages, coordinating with FKEC for outages and permits, and transferring existing loads to the new feeder.
