The U.S. Forest Service, Los Padres National Forest (Mt Pinos Ranger District), is seeking road resurfacing and maintenance services for Frazier Mountain Road and associated areas in Frazier Park, California. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Forest Service, Los Padres National Forest, Mt Pinos Ranger District - Scope of Work: - Road resurfacing, crack patching, slurry coating, pulverizing, repaving, pavement marking reinstallations, and roadside vegetation brushing - Key materials and specifications: - Hot Mix Asphalt Caltrans 1/2 in. type A, PG 64-16 No RAP (quantities up to 3,200 tons for main sections) - Slurry Seal (CalTrans Specification 37-3 Type II), up to 76,000 square feet per section - Aggregate Base, Caltrans Class 2 AB 3/4 in. max, 6 in. depth (up to 1,000 units per section) - Pavement markings (white, double yellow, stop bars, handicap, direction arrows, RV parking text) - Roadbed reconditioning with asphalt pulverization - Mobilization, construction staking, contractor testing, erosion and pollution control - Cutting roadway vegetation (10' both sides of the road) - Unique Requirements: - All work must comply with CalTrans and FP-24 specifications - Multiple mobilizations and site-specific services required - Work covers multiple segments: lower and upper Frazier Mtn. Road, trailhead parking, Chuchupate Campground, Mt Pinos Ranger Station, RV loop road, and helipad - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are named; materials must meet CalTrans standards - Estimated contract value: $1,000,000 to $2,000,000 - Place of performance includes Los Padres National Forest, Frazier Park, and associated federal facilities

- Requests For Information (RFI’s) are required to be submitted on attachment “8. RFI Form” and are due to the Contracting Officer (Gregory.Cunningham@usda.gov) via email no later than April 27th, 2026, 10:00 AM Pacific Time. No questions will be accepted after this date and time.
