Description

This Justification and Approval for use of other than full and open competition is to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) sole-source bridge contract for Base Wide Grounds Maintenance Services to Logsdon & Son Inc. at the Naval Weapons Station Crane, Crane, Indiana and the Glendora Testing Facility, Sullivan, Indiana. This sole-source bridge contract will be for a period of one (1) year to continue the delivery of critical Grounds Maintenance Services. The contract will have both recurring and nonrecurring grounds maintenance services that are integral to base operations. In accordance with, 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(2) FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency. Contracting without providing for full and open competition under this acquisition may be accomplished pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(2) of the Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency.
