Newfoundland & Labrador Health Services (NLHS) is seeking comprehensive cleaning services for rural medical clinics in the Western Zone of Newfoundland and Labrador. - Government Buyer: - Newfoundland & Labrador Health Services (NLHS), Western Zone - Scope of Services: - Daily, weekly, monthly, biannual, and annual cleaning tasks at multiple rural medical clinics - Clinics include: Daniels Harbour, Cow Head, Woody Point, Hampden, Jeffreys, Lourdes, and Jacksons Arm - Services cover sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, vacuuming, cleaning furniture, windows, and equipment, garbage removal - Strict adherence to infection control and safety standards, including biomedical waste handling - Staff must be trained in infection prevention and control - Equipment & Supplies: - Vendors must provide all cleaning equipment and supplies, including: - Janitors carts, swing machines, wet/dry vacuums with HEPA filters, vacuum cleaners with HEPA filters, pressure washers, garbage collection bins - Cleaning chemicals and supplies (mops, disposable cleaning cloths, toilet brushes/swabs, toilet paper, hand towels, garbage bags, hand soap) - Cleaning chemicals must meet standards: - High-Level Disinfecting Cleaning Solution (e.g., Diversey Oxivir Plus or equivalent) - General Purpose Cleaning Solution (e.g., Diversey Stride Fragrance Free or equivalent) - Glass Cleaning Solution (e.g., Diversey Glance NA or equivalent) - Unique Requirements: - Vendors must provide Safety Data Sheets for all chemicals - Compliance with biomedical waste handling and infection control policies is mandatory - Insurance and confidentiality requirements apply - Contract Details: - Three-year contract with an option to extend for one additional year - No specific OEMs are mandated, but Diversey products are referenced as standards of acceptance
