Description
This pre-solicitation notice serves as a synopsis and is posted in accordance with FAR subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. This is not a solicitation. Vendors shall not submit a quote until the solicitation is posted to www.SAM.gov.
The Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA) has the following requirements:
The Agency requires middle school instructional resources for a 9-week course in each grade, grades 6-8 and high school instructional resources for one 0.5-credit course. All instructional resources for students and teachers shall be (1) commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), (2) 100% digital, and (3) based on research-based best practices shown to help students master the standards. Virtual professional learning and industry standard technical support are also required. The Agency expects to award one contract for this requirement.
DoWEA expects to award one contract for this requirement.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611710 (Educational Support Services)
Services), and the applicable PSC is U009 (Education/Training - General). Interested parties must be registered under the NAICS code in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting their quotes.
DoWEA intends to issue solicitation No. HE125426QE032 in support of this requirement. This requirement will be procured using FAR Parts 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Services. This requirement will be competed as a full and open competition.
The anticipated award contract type is a Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.
DoWEA expects to make one award for a 5-year base period
