The U.S. Air Force, through the 49th Contracting Squadron at Holloman Air Force Base, is seeking information from qualified vendors for comprehensive maintenance, repair, and inspection services for vertical transportation equipment (VTE). - Government Buyer: - Air Education and Training Command, 49th Contracting Squadron (49 CONS PK), Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments - Products/Services Requested: - Full maintenance, repair, and inspection services for VTE, including elevators, escalators, wheelchair/stair lifts, dock levelers, and dumbwaiters - Services must include routine and emergency service calls, inspections per ASME A17.1 and NFPA standards, and compliance with OSHA and UFC guidelines - Contractor must provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, parts, and labor - Excludes alterations and cosmetic repairs (handled as over and above work) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Personnel must be licensed and certified for VTE maintenance and inspection - Contractor must submit maintenance control programs, inspection reports, and quality control plans - Emphasis on security, environmental compliance, and thorough documentation - Respondents must demonstrate capability, expertise, certification, and authorization to perform these services - Past performance and relevant contract history must be provided - Period of performance is a base year plus four option years, with ongoing monthly and annual reporting requirements
Description
Holloman AFB, NM is seeking information of interested vendors for Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE) Maintenance, Repair & Inspection Services, which are to be provided for a Base Year and Four (4) Option Years (OY). This requirement entails maintenance and inspection services IAW attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS).
The contractor shall be capable of fulfilling this requirement in its' entirety. NOTE: Further revisions or changes may be made and sent out with any future solicitation (if and when a solicitation is issued). This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and is not a Request for Proposals or Quotes (RFP or RFQ) or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any services. Responses to this sources sought are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government reserves the right to determine how it should proceed as a result of this notice. Furthermore, those who respond to this sources sought should not anticipate feedback with regard to its submission. The Government will not pay any cost incurred in response to this sources sought. All costs associated with responding to this sources sought will be solely at the responding party's expense. The information provided in this sources sought is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. Please respond according to the directions stated below.
Documentation of capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise, certification, authorization, and experience to compete for this acquisition.
