PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE BB - Upgrade IV Mixing Room for USP 800 Compliance Lee County VA Clinic, Cape Coral, FL, VAMC. This procurement is set-aside pursuant to an order of priority established in 38 U.S.C. 8127. Set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB)
No contract shall be awarded by this pre-solicitation notice. A request for quote will be posted on or about 20 April 2026. Project # 516-22-112 Upgrade IV Mixing Room for USP 800 Compliance, located at Lee County VA Clinic, Cape Coral, FL 33909. RFQ# 36C24826Q0548. Period of Performance: 270 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed.
THE BID/BUILD CONTRACTOR shall upgrade the Pharmacy IV Mixing Rooms to achieve compliance with USP 797 and USP 800, which govern sterile and hazardous drug compounding environments. The objective of this project is to perform construction, mechanical, electrical, and architectural upgrades that bring Rooms 1B164, 1B165, and 1B166 into full USP compliant operation, ensuring safe medication preparation for Veterans and staff. This project occurs within the operating Lee County HCC, requiring special attention to safety, infection control, security, and minimal operational disruption, as required in VA specification Section 01 00 00. for BB - Upgrade IV Mixing Room for USP 800 Compliance, as required by SOW, drawings, and specifications The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $45M. The VAAR 836.204 magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. The project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. All businesses desiring to be considered must be registered with SAM.gov before contract award, during the contract period of performance, and must continue to remain registered through the final invoice payment.
