This solicitation is for the replacement of boilers and related components in the main building at the Kentucky Correctional Institution for Women (KCIW) in PeWee Valley, KY. The scope includes removal of two existing steam boilers and associated steam system components, and installation of two new condensing heating hot water boilers to feed the building's existing heating hot water loop. The new boilers will operate with their own on-board controls and include new PVC flues and combustion air intakes. Additionally, two existing base mounted circulation pumps will be replaced.
