Description

The City of Fontana is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to update its Housing Element for the 7th Cycle (2029-2037). The update must comply with State law and align with the City's General Plan adopted in 2018. The Housing Element should demonstrate accommodation of the City's share of the Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA), which is yet to be determined. The updated Housing Element is due to the State by October 2029 and must be adopted at least 120 days before the planning period begins. The project duration is one year, and responses must be submitted electronically by April 30, 2026.
