The City of Grants Pass Public Works Department is seeking proposals for the supply and delivery of water meters to its Service Yard in Grants Pass, Oregon. - Government Buyer: - City of Grants Pass, Public Works Department, Water Distribution - OEMs and Vendors: - Only meters from manufacturers currently in the city's system are eligible: Zenner, Neptune, Badger, Sensus, Metron, and Master Meter - Alternate brands may be considered if a physical meter is delivered for approval one week prior to bid submission - Products/Services Requested: - 700 units of 5/8 x 3/4" water meters - 60 units of 1" water meters - Meters must feature street side local sight read, register units in cubic feet, cast iron bottom, lead-free bronze alloy NSF-61, and a 10-year warranty on both meter and register - Shipping to the City Service Yard must be included - Serial numbers and sizes for all meters must be provided in an Excel file upon delivery - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Problem meters/registers must be returned to the city within 20 business days - Only pre-approved OEMs or physically submitted alternate brands are eligible - Cost is the primary evaluation factor - Delivery required to a specific city address - Proposals must include two hard copies - The city reserves the right to reject any or all proposals
