The City of Courtenay, in partnership with Youth Climate Corp British Columbia (YCCBC), is seeking expressions of interest from local organizations for climate action projects, events, and initiatives. The program employs youth aged 17-30 to work on projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, build resilience, or help communities adapt to climate change. This summer, a team of four youth will be employed from May 25, 2026, to September 4, 2026. Interested organizations are invited to submit proposals to receive support for their climate-related work.
