The Department of the Air Force is conducting market research to identify qualified architect-engineer (A-E) firms for major renovation projects at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, Pacific Air Forces, 15th Wing, 766 Enterprise Sources Squadron (ESS), Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam - Projects and Services Requested: - Architect-engineer design services for: - Complete renovation and modernization of the Joint Mission Planning Facility (Building 2155H) - 21,672 sq ft facility including a 3,000 sq ft Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) compliant with ICD/ICS 705 - Deliverables: design development, 100% construction documents, cost estimates, phasing/mission continuity planning, permitting coordination, and limited construction phase support - Renovation of the Ni-CAD Battery Shop (Building 2131H, Room 128) - 671 sq ft interior renovation to meet DoD safety and operational standards (ventilation, hazardous gas detection, electrical classification, fire protection) - Deliverables: design development, construction documents, cost estimates, hazard classification memoranda - Unique or Notable Requirements: - A-E firms must have: - Demonstrated DoD project experience - Professional licensing in Hawaii - Expertise in secure facility (SCIF) design and hazardous ventilation/electrical classification - Ability to coordinate with government security and permitting authorities - Compliance with all applicable DoD, Air Force, and federal codes and standards - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; this is a professional services opportunity - Period of Performance: - Joint Mission Planning Facility: Final construction documents due within 270 days of award, with intermediate deliverables at 120 and 220 days - Ni-CAD Battery Shop: Final design due within 120 days of award, with key milestones at 10, 60, and 100 days - Place of Performance: - All work to be performed at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii (Buildings 2155H and 2131H) - Purpose: - This is a market research/sources sought notice to assess the availability of qualified firms and inform acquisition strategy; not a solicitation for proposals or pricing
