This opportunity from Alberta Agriculture & Irrigation, Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch (WIOB) Central Region, seeks a contractor for maintenance services on provincial water infrastructure in Central Alberta. - Government Buyer: - Alberta Agriculture & Irrigation, Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch (WIOB) Central Region - Scope of Work: - Annual preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and replacement of major water pumping and retention equipment - Inspections, removals, repairs, and recoating of: - Vertical turbine pumps (up to 40 feet) - Electric motors (up to 1750 HP) - All types of valves, piping, and mounting supports - Submersible pumps (2–12 inch) - Water regulating gates and operators - Cathodic protection surveys and repairs - Electrical troubleshooting and repairs - Locations: - St. Paul Pumphouse (South of St. Paul, AB) - Gull Lake Pumphouse (West of Bentley, AB) - Buffalo Lake Pumphouse (South of Alix, AB) - Dickson Dam (West of Innisfail, AB) - Other water regulating structures in Central Alberta - Unique Requirements: - Contractor must be capable of servicing a wide range of mechanical and electrical water infrastructure components - Work includes both scheduled and emergency response services - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation

Description

This solicitation is for a maintenance service agreement to provide annual preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and replacement of major water pumping infrastructure and water retention equipment for provincially owned water infrastructure in Alberta. The work includes inspections, removals, repairs, and recoating of various mechanical and electrical components such as vertical turbine pumps, electric motors, valves, submersible pumps, and water regulating gates. The equipment is located at multiple sites including St. Paul Pumphouse, Gull Lake Pumphouse, Buffalo Lake Pumphouse, Dickson Dam, and other water regulating structures in Central Alberta. The contractor will support Alberta Agriculture & Irrigation's Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch Central Region in maintaining critical water conveyance and retention systems.
