Description

The City of Courtenay, in partnership with Youth Climate Corp British Columbia (YCCBC), is seeking expressions of interest from local organizations to support climate action projects this summer. YCCBC employs youth aged 17-30 to carry out projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, build resilience, or help communities adapt to climate change. A team of four youth will be employed from May 25, 2026, to September 4, 2026, to work on these initiatives. Interested organizations are invited to submit proposals by April 23, 2026.
