This USDA Forest Service opportunity seeks timber marking and cruising services for the Jackalope Timber Sale area in the Ottawa National Forest, Michigan. - Only holders of USFS Region 9 Timber Mark and Cruise Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) are eligible to respond - Services required: - Timber marking and cruising for approximately 534 acres of Northern Hardwoods using uneven-age single-tree selection and sample tree cruising methods - GPS data collection for sample trees and digital data submission - Volume estimation and tallying count trees - Use of government-furnished blue tree marking paint - Place of performance: - Ottawa National Forest, Ironwood, Michigan (Gogebic County) - Watersmeet Ranger District Office (for paint pickup) - Contract details: - Firm fixed price - Completion required by November 30, 2026 - Work may occur in summer and/or winter, subject to weather - No specific OEMs or commercial products are required; this is a service-based procurement - All requirements and specifications are detailed in the attached statement of work and wage determination documents
