The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued an order approving the direct transfer of partial ownership of the Renewed Facility License No. DPR49 for the Duane Arnold Energy Center (DAEC) and the associated general license for the DAEC Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation from Central Iowa Power Cooperative and Corn Belt Power Cooperative to NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC. Following the transfer, NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC will hold 100% ownership of the license.
