Description
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has submitted a request for renewal of an existing information collection to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). This collection involves NRC Form 327, which is used by certain fuel cycle facility licensees to report inventories of special nuclear material (SNM) and source material (SM). The data helps the NRC assess material control and accounting programs and detect any theft or diversion of nuclear materials. The renewal also includes NUREG/BR-0096, which provides instructions and guidance for completing the physical inventory report. Comments on this renewal are requested by May 4, 2026.
