Description
The FAA is issuing a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Bombardier Inc. Model CL-600-1A11, CL-600-2A12, and CL-600-2B16 airplanes. This AD addresses an unsafe condition caused by uncommanded nose wheel steering upon landing due to loose nosewheel steering rudder pedal potentiometer universal coupling setscrews. The directive requires replacing these setscrews with new self-locking setscrews and revising the maintenance or inspection programs to include new life limits for the setscrews. The AD aims to prevent runway excursions and is effective May 8, 2026.
