Description

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) has submitted a request for a three-year extension of its Petroleum Supply Reporting System (PSRS) information collection under OMB Control Number 1905-0165. The PSRS includes seven weekly surveys, eight monthly surveys, and two annual surveys (one proposed new standby survey) that collect data on crude oil, petroleum products, biofuels, refinery capacities, and storage capacities. The data collected supports various statistical reports and energy market analyses, and the extension includes minor modifications to survey instructions and forms to improve data quality and reduce respondent burden.
