Monroe County, Mississippi is seeking qualified engineering firms or individuals to support a water infrastructure project application and, if funded, provide full engineering services. - Government Buyer: - Monroe County (Monroe County Chancery Building, Aberdeen, MS) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or vendors are named in this solicitation - Products/Services Requested: - Engineering services for a water infrastructure project - Preparation of preliminary cost estimate and engineering report for grant application - If awarded, full engineering services including: - Plans and specifications - Bid document distribution and bid opening assistance - Bid tabulation and contract execution support - Preconstruction conference facilitation - Construction inspection, periodic reporting, and payment request approval - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Project may be funded by HUD Community Development Block Grant Public Facilities, Appalachian Regional Commission, and/or other federal agencies - Fixed price contract awarded based on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance - Strong encouragement for participation from Minority and Woman owned Business Enterprises and Section 3 eligible businesses - Proposals may be held for up to 30 days for evaluation - Period of performance extends through project closeout, beginning with the application phase and continuing if the grant is awarded

Monroe County is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for a water infrastructure project application potentially funded by HUD's Community Development Block Grant Public Facilities.
