The County of Louisa, Virginia is seeking qualified firms to provide airport insurance brokerage services for the Louisa County Airport. - Government Buyer: - County of Louisa, Virginia - Finance Department, 2nd Floor, 1 Woolfolk Avenue, Suite 304, Louisa, VA 23093 - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or vendors are named in the solicitation - Requested Services: - Airport insurance brokerage services, including: - Insurance placement for aviation, general liability, storage tank liability, and other coverages - Risk exposure analysis and risk management advice - Claims assistance and broker representation - In-person assistance within 12 hours of emergencies - Flat, non-commission broker fee required - Full disclosure of any compensation from insurers - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Minimum five years of experience with government or public entities, preferably airports - Ability to provide in-person emergency assistance within 12 hours - Selection based on best fit for County needs, not necessarily lowest cost - Offerors must be properly licensed in Virginia - County may award to more than one offeror

Description

The County of Louisa is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified firms to provide airport insurance brokerage services for the Louisa County Airport. The contract period is from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with the possibility of four successive one-year renewals. The County reserves the right to award to more than one offeror and will select firms that best meet its needs, not necessarily the lowest cost. Proposals are due by April 28, 2026, at 3:30 PM local time.
