The U.S. Air Force's 35th Contracting Squadron is seeking to procure and install an F-35 Engine Run Simulator suite at Misawa Air Base, Japan, to enhance maintenance training capabilities. - Government Buyer: - 35th Contracting Squadron, U.S. Air Force, 35th Maintenance Group, Maintenance Training Section - OEMs and Vendors: - iPerformX (only OEM explicitly referenced) - Products/Services Requested: - iPerformX F-35 Cockpit Simulator or equivalent (1 unit) - iPerform F-35 Desktop Trainers or equivalent (2 units) - iPerformX F-35 Mixed Reality for Cockpit Simulator or equivalent (1 unit) - High-fidelity cockpit simulator with tactile controls, physical switches, HOTAS, touch-screen displays, and mixed reality headset (Varjo XR-4 Focal Edition) - Companion desktop trainers with simulation PCs and F-35 representative controls - Complete software package with permanent licenses (no annual fees) - Installation, configuration, and instruction (minimum 3-day training for up to 35 personnel) - Printed and digital manuals for all systems and controls - 24-month software warranty and 56-month hardware warranty - 5-year support package with 24-hour support response - Transportation and delivery to Misawa Air Base, Japan - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Simulator must be fully unclassified and meet or exceed iPerformX specifications - System must include analog button controls, touch screen interface, physical backlit switches and knobs, advanced instructor inject scenarios, and a full cockpit system - Software must allow for updates and advanced instructor controls - Installation at Building 651, Maintenance Training Section, Misawa Air Base - Training for 35 personnel, including government instructor certification - Manuals in English, including manufacturer documentation for all hardware - Compliance with security, environmental, and safety standards - All hardware and software must be delivered and installed within 120 days of award - Warranty support must provide a one-business-day response for system errors

Description

The 35th Contracting Squadron is seeking vendors able to source and deliver an iPerformX F-35 Engine Run Simulator or Equal that meets or exceeds the below specifications. The requirement requires direct delivery to Misawa Air Base Japan.

Salient Characteristics Needed: 1. Unclassified System: The simulator, including all hardware, software, and data produced must be fully unclassified 2. Must meet or exceed all specifications of the iPerfromX Simulator IAW the attached Statement of Objective (SOO) 3. Provide a 5-year support package 4. Provides timely support response capability – w/in 24 hrs 5. Has analog button controls along with touch screen for realistic operations 6. Provides physical backlit switches and knobs for all critical systems 7. Provides for software update abilities 8. Provides for ease of use 9. Provides advanced instructor inject scenarios and control the simulator 10. Proves full cockpit system that provides enhanced instructor controls for injecting emergency scenarios and monitoring student responses

The contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, parts, transportation, personnel, labor, supervision, and management to install the F-35 Engine Run Simulator Suite at Bldg. 651, Maintenance Training Section, Misawa Air Base, Japan. The contractor shall install the complete simulator suite and provide comprehensive training on the maintenance and use of the installed system.
