The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone is seeking information for a potential contract to upgrade two Egyptian Air Force Beechcraft King Air B1900C aircraft with advanced avionics and provide related training and spares. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone (Fixed Wing-Division CCAM-AVB-D) - Contracting office located at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama - Aircraft and Avionics Upgrade: - Modification of two Beechcraft King Air B1900C aircraft - Avionics suite includes: - Dual transponders with Enhanced Surveillance and ADS-B Out - Dual GNSS with SBAS - TCAS II Version 7.1 - Dual ADAHRS - Weather radar system - Multifunction displays - Dual flight management systems (FMS) - New autopilot - Inertial reference system - Spares and Training: - Two-year avionics spares package (including two AR-1500 radios) - OCONUS training in Cairo for up to six pilots, six technicians, and three navigators - Training includes computer-based and hands-on instruction, with materials in English - Services: - Avionics system integration and installation on both aircraft - Includes labor, equipment, materials, and tools - Place of Performance: - Work and training to be conducted in Cairo, Egypt - Contracting office at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama - Unique Requirements: - Integration with existing federated post-production modifications - Training for both pilots and technical staff - Delivery of spares to Cairo, Egypt - OEMs: - Beechcraft (manufacturer of King Air B1900C aircraft) - No specific avionics OEMs named; likely candidates include Honeywell, Garmin, Collins Aerospace, and Universal Avionics based on requested systems

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY – This RFI is issued in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), Exchanges with Industry before Receipt of Proposal; it is solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. Solicitations will not be accepted at this time. Unsolicited proposals will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.  All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States Government. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. Respondents shall not be obligated to provide the services described herein. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on https://sam.gov/. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
