The Capital Regional District (CRD) is seeking to prequalify vendors for construction services related to the development of Hartland Landfill Cell 5B and associated infrastructure. The scope includes rock blasting and excavation, construction of a mechanically stabilized earth landfill toe berm, installation of HDPE/GCL geomembrane liner and drainage layers, leachate and pressure relief piping, sedimentation pond, clay berm and leachate containment features, utility piping relocation and extension, a prefab wheel wash facility, onsite aggregate processing, and other site maintenance tasks such as fencing repair and dust management.
