RFI: Transition and Support for VA Co-located Hosting Services at Gateway North and East

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information & Technology is seeking information from industry for the transition and support of Co-located Hosting Services (CHS) at its Gateway North (Chicago, IL) and Gateway East (Sterling, VA) data centers. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) - Office of Information & Technology (OIT) - Connectivity & Collaboration Services (CCS) - Technology Acquisition Center NJ (contracting office) - Services Requested: - Like-for-like transition and upgrade of existing Co-located Hosting Services (CHS) - Facilities must meet TIA-942-B Rated 3 (Tier 3) standards - 24x7 staffing and smart hands support - Network Operations Center (NOC) services - Physical security, power, and cooling infrastructure - Connectivity to Tier 1 carriers - Professional services for design, implementation, maintenance, and transition management - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Data centers must comply with TIA-942-B Rated 3, SSAE 16, ISO27001, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA standards - Services must include both operational support and professional services for transition - No specific OEMs or hardware products are identified; focus is on facility and service capabilities - Locations: - Gateway North Data Center (Chicago, IL) - Gateway East Data Center (Sterling, VA) - VA Technology Acquisition Center NJ (contracting office, Eatontown, NJ)

This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation nor does it restrict the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as to the ultimate acquisition approach.

VA’s Office of Information & Technology (OIT), Connectivity & Collaboration Services (CCS) has a requirement to provide a like-for-like transition of existing contracted Co-located Hosting Services (CHS) for VA’s Gateway North and East locations.
