Description
This public notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies under FAR Part 12. It is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is released as a firm-fixed-price contract competition for Lowest Price Technically Acceptable items.
The Library of Congress National Audiovisual Conservation Center (NAVCC) acquires, preserves, and provides access to the world’s largest collection of films, television and radio broadcasts, videos, and sound recordings. The NAVCC Video Laboratory requires one additional video robot encoder to be used for testing purposes as well as a standby for the other video encoders in the system. The contractor shall provide hardware, software, and requisite supporting/auxiliary equipment for one video encoder. The contract also includes up to four years of hardware/software support and maintenance.
