The City of Fremont, Nebraska is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of sanitary collector vaults and manholes in multiple locations on the southeast side of Fremont. - Government Buyer: - City of Fremont, Nebraska (Office of the City Clerk) - OEMs and Vendors: - Obic Armor (Obic Armor 1000 protective liner) - Strong Seal (High Performance Mix grout) - Approved equals permitted for both products - Products/Services Requested: - Cleaning, preparation, and rehabilitation of existing sanitary collector vaults and manholes - Application of Obic Armor 1000 or approved equal as a protective liner - Use of Strong Seal High Performance Mix or approved equal for grout patches - All labor, equipment, materials, traffic control, bypass pumping, and surface restoration - Notable Requirements: - Bidders must provide manufacturer specifications and warranty information for all materials - Minimum 2-year warranty on workmanship and 5-year manufacturer's warranty on materials - Performance bond required for 2 years post-completion - Liquidated damages of $100 per day for late completion - Bid security of at least 5% of bid price required - Affirmative Action Statement required - City reserves right to select bid based on best workmanship and materials, not just lowest price
