Description
This solicitation is for the replacement of approximately 232 linear feet of 12-inch steel water main with a combination of 12-inch ductile iron (DI) water main and Thermacor Ferro-Therm pre-insulated DI water main under the Alder Street Bridge in Moses Lake, Washington. The project includes connecting the new water main at existing points on each side of the bridge, installation under the bridge using existing brackets and concrete supports, and careful removal of existing pipe due to asbestos in the pipe coating. Additional work involves pavement preparation, removal and restoration of sidewalks, curb, gutter, guardrails, fencing, and final restoration with hot mix asphalt patching. Bidders must be on the MRSC Small Works Roster and submit sealed bids with a 5% deposit by April 30, 2026.
