The Town of Braintree, Massachusetts is seeking qualified vendors to provide installation labor for an Irrigation Control Retrofit at the Braintree Municipal Golf Course. - Government Buyer: - Town of Braintree, Director of Golf Operations, Braintree Municipal Golf Course - Scope of Work: - Installation labor only; all materials (including Rain Bird and 3M components) are provided by the Town - Wire installation using vibratory plow (16,000 linear feet) - ICM retrofit and sprinkler connection (150 units) - Enhanced grounding unit installation (10 units) - Central interface (ICI+) grounding (1 lump sum) - Turf restoration and site cleanliness required - Digital mapping of ICMs and system integration - Products (Owner-Provided): - Rain Bird ICSD lightning surge arrestors - 4" x 36" x 0.0625" copper grounding plates - 5/8" x 8' copper-clad ground rods - Non-migrating Ground Enhancement Material (GEM) - #10 AWG solid bare and insulated copper wire - 4-inch perforated drain pipe with grated caps - 10-inch round valve boxes - 3M DBR/Y-6 splice kits - Notable Requirements: - Strict wire installation and grounding standards - Compliance with Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Laws - Cost of bonds and permits must be included - Manufacturer warranties required on all installed parts - All products must be new and unused - Vendors may be required to perform product demonstrations or tests - Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder - Period of performance: Spring to mid-May, normal work hours, no option years
