Midland Independent School District (MISD) is seeking proposals for a district-wide copier lease and maintenance solution: - Government Buyer: - Midland Independent School District (MISD) - OEMs and Vendors: - Konica Minolta is the only OEM explicitly referenced (models Bizhub c301i, c451i, c551i, AccurioPress C7100, Bizhub Pro 1100), but equivalent products from other manufacturers are allowed - Products/Services Requested: - Lease of 42 new, current production model multifunction copier/printer devices (no refurbished units) - 19 x Bizhub c301i (or equivalent) - 17 x Bizhub c451i (or equivalent) - 4 x Bizhub c551i (or equivalent) - 1 x AccurioPress C7100 (or equivalent) - 1 x Bizhub Pro 1100 (or equivalent) - Full-service maintenance and support for: - 42 new leased devices - 108 existing off-lease copiers (models 300i, 450i, 550i) - Any additional units as they transition off lease - Print management and device monitoring software - All consumables (excluding paper), delivery, installation, configuration, and training - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Strict service level agreements: minimum 95% device uptime, 4-hour response time, 24-hour repair goal - Certified technicians required; background checks mandatory - Loaner or replacement devices must be provided if repairs exceed 48 hours - Electronic reporting and remote monitoring required - Proposals must include detailed technical specs, service procedures, references, and pricing using the provided template - Place(s) of Performance: - Multiple MISD facilities and schools throughout Midland, TX, including the print shop and various elementary, junior high, and high school campuses - Contract Term: - Initial one-year contract with up to four one-year renewal options (maximum five years total)

Description

Midland Independent School District (MISD) is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified vendors to provide lease and full-service maintenance for forty-two new multifunction copier/printer devices, as well as any additional units acquired during the contract term. The scope includes comprehensive copier and print management solutions, including hardware, software, preventative and on-demand maintenance, consumables (excluding paper), delivery, installation, configuration, and training. Vendors must meet specified service level agreements and provide detailed pricing, with the contract term initially one year with options to renew.
