Description
The City of Champaign is seeking qualified organizations to provide summer-focused programming and services aligned with the Community Gun Violence Reduction Blueprint. The goal is to address service gaps during summer months when youth disengagement and violence risk increase. Funded programs must prioritize prevention, engagement, and stabilization strategies targeting youth vulnerability, including summer youth programming, mental health supports for young teen females, vocational assistance, and faith-based mentoring. Selected providers will collaborate with city departments and evaluators to deliver culturally responsive, trauma-informed services from June 1 to December 31, 2026.
