The Department of the Interior's Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), through the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) Acquisition Operations Branch, is seeking specialized services for the development and maintenance of a Critical Minerals Geospatial Portal. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of the Interior - Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) Acquisition Operations Branch, on behalf of BOEM - OEMs and Vendors: - Conservation Biology Institute (CBI) identified as the sole source provider - Products/Services Requested: - Development and maintenance of the Critical Minerals Geospatial Portal (Data Basin Gateway) - Maintain the existing Guam gateway - Develop new geospatial portals for the Commonwealth of the Mariana Islands and American Samoa - Operate and maintain Data Basin servers - Update websites and create new portal websites - Assist in generating new datasets to support marine spatial planning - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Sole source procurement to Conservation Biology Institute - Focus on supporting marine spatial planning for U.S. territories in the Pacific - Includes both ongoing maintenance and new development for geospatial data portals - Contractor will operate from their own facility
