INTRODUCTION The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal (W58RGZ-26-B-0022) ATTN: CCAM-AVA-B, Building 5303, Martin Road Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280 (US) is issuing this Sources Sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to support/provide new manufacture of Nomenclature: Weight Assy, Bifilar, NSN 1615-01-127-2166, Part number 70107-08404-044.

The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement if a requirement materializes. Based on the responses to this Sources Sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions.

REQUIRED CAPABILITIES The Government requires that contractors be able to provide all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools, and data necessary to accomplish a new manufacture of the Nomenclature: Weight Assy, Bifilar, NSN 1615-01-127-2166, Part number 70107-08404-044. The items shall be packaged and shipped to the required destination(s). This item is a non-Critical Safety Item (CSI). A technical data package (TDP) is available.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS The Government requires that contractors have a plan to meet all the Government’s special tooling and test equipment requirements with either: 1. Physical possession of the required tools, 2. Confirmed requisitions for the required tools, 3. Confirmed arrangements for subcontracting the processes requiring the special tools, or 4. Specific plans describing their technical approach to develop equivalent tools.

The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 336413 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1250. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 1615. There is a complete Government-owned TDP for this Part Number 70107-08404-044.

SUBMISSION DETAILS

Interested businesses should submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than ten 8.5 X 11- i n c h pages, font no smaller than 10 point) demonstrating ability to provide the products/systems listed in this Technical Description.
