The Board of County Commissioners of Washington County, Maryland, is soliciting sealed bids for the Showalter Road at Perini Avenue Intersection Improvements project, Contract No. II-SP-043-16. The project involves reconfiguring the intersection to a right-in/right-out traffic pattern, reconstructing the concrete island and median, widening Showalter Road to add an acceleration lane and taper section, reconstructing curbs, relocating and constructing traffic barriers, and updating line striping and signage.
