Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) is seeking proposals for comprehensive coffee services across multiple Massport facilities in Massachusetts. - Government Buyer: - Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport), Goods & Services - OEMs and Vendors: - Highlighted OEMs: Newco, Keurig - Other referenced equipment: My Caf - Products and Equipment Requested: - Coffee brewing equipment (e.g., Newco Fresh Pod System, My Caf MCP Pod, Keurig K-2550, K-3550, K-1550, Newco Ace series) - Approximately 60 single-serve brewers and 20 drip brewers to be supplied, installed, and maintained - Coffee (regular, decaf, ground, single-serve, seasonal), tea (various types and formats), hot chocolate - Estimated annual quantities: 2,000 boxes single-serve coffee, 500 boxes tea pods, 25-50 boxes ground coffee, 25 boxes hot chocolate, etc. - White goods: cups, lids, plates, napkins, utensils, stirrers, sweeteners - Quantities specified for each item (e.g., 50 boxes of 1,000 hot cups, 20 boxes of 1,000 forks) - Services Requested: - Delivery, operation, and management of coffee services - Installation, maintenance, and technical support for all equipment at no cost to Massport - Biannual inspections, deep cleaning, and rapid response for repairs - Unique and Notable Requirements: - Equipment must be provided and maintained at no cost to Massport (lease or no-cost options permitted) - Sustainability focus: recyclable/compostable products, energy-efficient equipment, ethically sourced coffee - TWIC card required for access to secure locations (e.g., Conley Terminal) - Vendor tasting demo required as part of evaluation - No additional charges beyond bid pricing - Encouragement of minority-owned, woman-owned, and small business participation - Evaluation based on quality, price, experience, responsiveness, community engagement, and references - Primary locations include Logan International Airport, Worcester Regional Airport, Hanscom Field, and various Massport facilities in Boston and surrounding areas.

Description

The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) is soliciting proposals for the delivery, operation, and management of coffee services including coffee machines, coffee, tea, supplies, and white goods across multiple Massport locations in Massachusetts. The contract term is three years with two one-year options, and bidders must be able to obtain a TWIC Card. The scope includes providing new, clean coffee dispensers, various coffee and tea products, supplies such as cups and utensils, and maintenance and technical support. Proposals will be evaluated based on quality, price, experience, responsiveness, community engagement, and references, with an emphasis on sustainability and no additional charges allowed.
