This notice announces the completion of inventories of human remains and associated funerary objects by the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at Harvard University and The Rockwell Museum. The inventories determined cultural affiliations between these remains and objects and certain Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The notice provides details on the items, their provenance, and the process for repatriation requests, which may occur on or after May 4, 2026, in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA).
