Description

The Metropolitan Park District of the Toledo Area is rescinding two Notices of Inventory Completion and one Notice of Inventory Completion Correction previously published in the Federal Register in 2002, 2003, and 2009. These notices pertained to human remains and associated funerary objects removed from Lucas County, Ohio. The transfer of control of these remains and objects has not occurred, and the district is notifying various Native American tribes of this rescission. This action is part of the National Park Service's administrative responsibilities under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA).
