Description

The Florida Department of State has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory identifies a cultural affiliation between the remains and objects and several Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. Repatriation of these remains and objects may occur on or after May 4, 2026, with requests for repatriation to be sent to the Florida Department of State.
