Description

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), on behalf of Gallup Indian Medical Center located in Gallup, New Mexico, and Tohatchi Health Center located in Tohatchi, New Mexico, intends to negotiate a sole-source, firm-fixed-price award with Cepheid (UEI: W6HQTMWB9Q28). Cepheid is the only vendor capable of providing test kits compatible with Cepheid equipment currently installed at both facilities. The NAICS code is 325413, In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing, with an associated small business size standard of 1,250 employees.

The Period of Performance will have a base year and two option years, if exercised. The award will be a sole source procurement pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1).

This notice is not a solicitation or request for offers. Vendors capable of providing the stated services may submit a capability statement. Verbal responses will not be considered. Responses are due April 16, 2026 by 8:30 am MDT.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
