This procurement seeks the supply and installation of a new main HP air compressor at the USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Eastern Regional Research Center in Wyndmoor, PA. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Acquisition and Property Division - Contracting office located at 5601 Sunnyside Avenue, Beltsville, MD - OEMs and Vendors: - Gardner Denver is specified as the reference OEM for the air compressor; equivalent products are acceptable - Products/Services Requested: - One (1) Gardner Denver oil-free two-stage fixed or variable speed rotary screw compressor, or equivalent - Minimum 40HP (30kW), at least 192 CFM @ 125 PSIG, 460V/3PH/60Hz - Water-cooled heat exchanger, Wye-Delta reduced volt start, ODP high efficiency motor, full synthetic oil (8000 hour lifetime), 80C mixing valve temp, water shutoff valve, moisture separator - Must be oil-free with zero risk of contamination - Removal and disposal of the old Gardner Denver air compressor - Installation and tie-in of the new compressor, including all piping, electrical, and operational testing - Onsite end user training, user manuals, and warranty registration - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Equipment must comply with the Buy American Act - Installation and delivery required within 75 days of contract award - Firm fixed price award to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror with acceptable past performance - Small business set-aside, including economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses - All technical requirements and specifications are detailed in the solicitation attachments - Place of Performance and Delivery: - USDA Eastern Regional Research Center, 600 East Mermaid Lane, Wyndmoor, PA 19038

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0400 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a new main HP air compressor with installation.

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 333912. The small business size standard is 1000 employees  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
