The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is seeking a licensed contractor to provide comprehensive pest and rodent control services at its Conservation and Production Research Laboratory (CPRL) in Bushland, Texas. - Government Buyer: - US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) - Contracting office: USDA ARS Acquisition and Property Division, Beltsville, MD - Place of performance: Conservation and Production Research Laboratory, Bushland, TX - Scope of Services: - Monthly pest and rodent control inspections and services for approximately 19 USDA buildings - Includes all routine consumables, parts, labor, and service calls - Initial service in the first month, followed by recurring monthly services - Service calls for areas of concern as needed - Services to be performed during normal business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., excluding holidays) - Contract Structure: - Base year plus four one-year option periods (total of up to 5 years), with potential for up to 10 years if all options are exercised - Possible six-month extension under FAR 52.217-8 - Requirements: - Contractor must be licensed and provide certified key personnel - Mandatory site visit required prior to bidding - Compliance with all federal regulations - Penalties for delayed visits - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or product manufacturers are named; this is a service-based requirement - Small Business Set-Aside: - Opportunity is set aside for small business concerns under NAICS code 561710 - Notable Details: - Services cover a wide range of buildings (identified by number and function) at the Bushland facility - All responsible small business sources may submit a quotation

Description – Rodent and Pest Control Service

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.  

Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0404 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Rodent and Pest Control Services for a duration of one base year and four option periods.

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 561710  The small business size standard is $17.5 million  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
