Description
The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to issue a direct award to Commemorative Air Force (CAF), 5661 Mariner Drive, Dallas, Texas 75237- 4728 (SAM UEI: RR3MM8ZLJSA8) for Flight Line Services. The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Flight Line Service Detachment (FLSD) provides high quality smoke & engine oil services. The aerobatic smoke oil and engine oil are transported on base from/to Harlingen by the contractor. These fluids are used during aerobatic displays to highlight plumes, maneuvers with white or colored smoke to enhance the displays. It's safe for performances because it provides better visibility of the aircrafts. The Flight Line carries a wide range of fluids to support large events such our airshows and they bring in their own equipment to pump the fluids into the aircrafts. The vendor is local, and pricing is cheaper to haul the oils to Randoph from an instate vendor than an out of state vendor. This notice is not a request for quotations/proposals or an invitation for bids and no solicitation is available.
