Notice of Intent to Award – Multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements
The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Gallup Service Unit in Gallup, New Mexico, intends to place multiple-award Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) with Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Systems, Inc. and KCI, Inc. for Medical supplies which consist of sutures of different sizes, mesh physio, filter charcoal mega vac, stapler of different sizes, needle veres, cutter reload, tip bovie coated, curved shears, canister suction, cassette veralink, drape vac, dressing incision, tubing abthera sets, etc. on an as-needed basis.
The anticipated period of performance is a base period of one year from the date of award with Four (4) option periods. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 33913 – Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 800.
No further awards will be made unless the need for Gallup Indian Medical Center, Medical Supply Department changes. The prospective, multiple-award BPAs as identified in this notice are sufficient at this time. In accordance with Part 12.201-1(e)(3)(i)(A), establishment of multiple BPAs constitute maximum practicable competition.
Any other sources that believe they are capable of fulfilling the government requirements as described are encouraged to submit their capability statement, price lists, and catalogs to the point of contact listed below via email only and no later than April 16, 2026. In the event additional BPAs are deemed to be in the best interest of the government, capable vendors may be contacted and be requested to establish a BPA with the Government.
This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued.
