On-Call Estimating, Scheduling, and Constructability Consulting Services for City of Seattle Capital Projects

The City of Seattle is seeking qualified consultants to provide on-call professional services for estimating, scheduling, and constructability review to support capital construction projects managed by the Finance and Administrative Services Capital Development Division. - Government Buyer: - City of Seattle, Finance and Administrative Services Capital Development Division, Procurement Office - Scope of Services: - Cost estimating at all design phases (conceptual, parametric, detailed) - Independent cost estimates, quantity take-offs, value engineering support, construction cost benchmarking, bid analysis, change order review, and claims support - Development and review of project schedules, including CPM scheduling, schedule risk assessments, progress updates, time impact and delay analysis, recovery schedule evaluation, and earned value analysis - Multidisciplinary constructability reviews, including site logistics, phasing, sequencing, design conflict identification, material and system coordination, and safety/operational impact assessments - Products/Services Requested: - Professional consulting services for estimating, scheduling, and constructability review (no specific part numbers or quantities; services are on-call and assigned via task orders) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - No minimum qualifications required to submit - No guaranteed volume or duration of work; assignments are made as needed - Compliance with licensing, insurance, and public records laws - Submission of a Consultant Inclusion Plan - The City may conduct interviews and reference checks, and reserves the right to negotiate contract terms and reject any or all responses - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named, as this is a solicitation for professional consulting services - Places of Performance: - City facilities including Seattle Municipal Tower, Seattle City Hall, Seattle Justice Center, Fire Stations, Police Precincts, and shops and yard facilities
