This opportunity seeks qualified contractors to join a Homeowner Repair Contractor Pool for the City of Indianapolis and Marion County's Department of Metropolitan Development. - Government Buyer: - City of Indianapolis and Marion County, Department of Metropolitan Development (DMD), Community Investments Office - Scope of Services: - On-call home repair services for low- and moderate-income homeowners - Trades include: - General contracting - Plumbing - Electrical - HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) - Roofing - Lead-based paint testing and removal - Asbestos removal - Radon testing and mitigation - Mold remediation - Repairs may cover foundations, structural support, critical systems (HVAC, water heaters, pumps), flooring, doors, windows, electrical, plumbing, well/septic/sewage repairs, interior/exterior finishes, ADA improvements, site work, and hazardous material abatement - Contractor Requirements: - Must be licensed and bonded - Capable of completing projects typically within 60 days of notice to proceed - May qualify for one or multiple trades - Responsible for electronic submission of qualifications and monitoring addenda - Must disclose potential conflicts with other City projects - Funding: - Supported by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and City funds - Contract Details: - 18-month base term with possible 18-month renewal - No guaranteed minimum or maximum service volume - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to all qualified contractors - Notable Requirements: - Focus on safety, habitability, and compliance with hazardous material regulations - Services must be provided for single-family homes within Indianapolis and Marion County

Description

The City of Indianapolis and Marion County's Department of Metropolitan Development is seeking qualified contractors to establish a pool for on-call home repair services. The program focuses on repairs for low- and moderate-income homeowners to ensure safe and habitable homes. Contractors may qualify for multiple trades including general contracting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lead-based paint and asbestos removal, roofing, radon testing and mitigation, and mold remediation.
