Description
Lane County is seeking a non-profit organization and/or developer to partner in developing and operating multiple affordable housing units in the McKenzie River Valley. This opportunity provides $8,000,000 in HUD Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery funding for program development, property acquisition, pre-development planning, construction, and lease up. The grant period ends December 31, 2028, with ongoing operational costs to be funded through rental or sales revenues thereafter. Proposers must demonstrate experience in affordable housing development and operation, particularly in rural unincorporated Oregon.
