Lane County is seeking qualified partners to support affordable housing development in the McKenzie River Valley as part of the Holiday Farm Fire Recovery initiative. - Government Buyer: - Lane County, County Administration - Funding Source: - $8,000,000 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) - Products/Services Requested: - Development and operation of multiple affordable housing units - Activities include program development, property acquisition, pre-development planning, construction, and lease-up - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in this solicitation - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Proposers must be non-profit organizations and/or developers with experience in rural affordable housing projects, especially in unincorporated Oregon - Registration and login on the Bid Locker platform is required - Ongoing operational costs after the grant period will be covered by rental or sales revenues from the developed units

Lane County is seeking a non-profit organization and/or developer to partner in developing and operating multiple affordable housing units in the McKenzie River Valley. This opportunity provides $8,000,000 in HUD Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery funding for program development, property acquisition, pre-development planning, construction, and lease up. The grant period ends December 31, 2028, with ongoing operational costs to be funded through rental or sales revenues thereafter. Proposers must demonstrate experience in affordable housing development and operation, particularly in rural unincorporated Oregon.
