Description
The City of Glens Falls is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to develop and design plans and specifications for rehabilitation projects at three raw water reservoir intake structures located on City watershed property. The scope includes field survey, site reconnaissance, intake structure evaluation, geotechnical investigation, design, preparation of engineering reports, specification writing, estimating, bid document preparation, permitting, funding support, and construction administration services. The goal is to preserve, repair, rehabilitate, reinforce, and extend the service life of the three operational gunite-lined reservoir intakes upstream of the City's water filtration plant. Proposers are encouraged to attend two pre-proposal meetings to view the intake reservoirs and engage with City staff.
