Description
The New York State Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs is seeking not-for-profit entities to apply for the Technology-Related Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities (TRAID) Program. The program aims to promote greater independence for individuals with disabilities by providing access to Assistive Technology devices that enhance functional abilities in education, employment, and community living. Selected Regional TRAID Centers will assess regional needs, collaborate with community stakeholders, and manage a large inventory of AT devices for training and loan to individuals with disabilities and related parties. The contract term is five years with five optional one-year extensions, serving the entire state of New York.
