SUNY Upstate Medical University is seeking a qualified contractor to produce and maintain a CMS-compliant Machine Readable File (MRF) for hospital price transparency: - Government Buyer: - State University of New York (SUNY), SUNY Upstate Medical University, Contracts & Campus Purchasing - Products/Services Requested: - Production and ongoing maintenance of a Machine Readable File (MRF) that meets all requirements of the CMS Hospital Price Transparency Final Rule (45 CFR Part 180) - The MRF must include all required standard charge data for Upstate's hospital facilities - The file must be made publicly accessible on the Upstate website - Contract Details: - Five-year contract term - Discretionary procurement with a value up to $125,000 - Open to all qualified vendors, with encouragement for NYS-certified small businesses, MWBEs, and SDVOBs - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict compliance with CMS Hospital Price Transparency regulations - MWBE and SDVOB participation goals (30% and 6% respectively) - Compliance with NYS Finance Law §§139-j & –k (Lobbying Law), NYS Tax Law Section 5-a, and submission of Vendor Responsibility documents - Valid NYS Workers’ Compensation and Disability forms required - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in this solicitation, but Turquoise Health Co. was previously awarded a similar contract - Place of Performance: - SUNY Upstate Medical University, 750 East Adams St., Syracuse, NY 13210

The MRF must accurately reflect all required standard charge data for Upstate's hospital facilities and be publicly accessible on their website.
